Very good review of Calyx DAC 24/192 found on Computeraudiophile.com. Click here for the actual review.

The highs are not tilted up conveying the illusion of more resolution and detail. The bass is tight and full, not threadbare. The midrange presence is appropriately full, no sense of thinness at all (like many current DAC's...even pricier units). Tones are fleshed out correctly. The Calyx has a very big sound. Very dynamic with a soundstage that is wide and deep. It does not cut to the bone trying to expose extra detail and heightened resolution falsely, like many other DAC's. Focus is rock solid and vocals are full and accurate..."
